I think everyone knows that Klang is famous for having a very heavy traffic every day with all the honking made from the uncivilised drivers plus the overtaking actions made by our irresponsible drivers... No wonder the rate of accidents in our country is increasing every year.
Now my story goes like this:
I was appointed to be one of the teachers in charge of looking after all the PMR candidates in a girl school. Before the exam, I were to go for a meeting held in the same school and it is quite far from my place.
I got my P driving license 2 months ago..tua-tua baru mo ambi lesen ni...I took 2 driving tests because I failed my first test.. and soon after I received my license from my instructor, I forced myself driving in this chaotic Klang because Jeth is not around. Before I went for the meeting on the actual day, I prayed the Rosary. Then I began my journey and moved slowly.. only 60-70km/h. FYI, I was driving a manual transmission car and the thing that terrified me the most was the slope along the road crossing Klang River. What if I can't control my car and crash the car behind me??!!! This went over and over inside my mind.. Only God knows how I feel at that moment and I shivered along the journey. But GOD is so good for HE gave me a very smooth and safe journey. It was unbelievable when the traffic was smooth and all the other drivers were patient with me and the good thing was, they did not honk me even once. Thanks JC.. I was relieved when I returned home in one piece..
This is my first experience driving alone in Klang and it terrified me a bit... If I were given a choice, I don't want to drive ALONE in a place so chaotic. But, I have to do so because my better half was away and I'm on my own. This experience actually teach me a lot of things and I'm very thankful for it. I'm still a novice driver and hope to improve my driving skills in the future.. For the record, the furthest place I went so far by driving was to LCC Terminal...:) and yet still can't get over my pet peeve: DRIVING ALONE AT NIGHT...
