It's for real

Been busy lately... Mcm la hari-hari tidak busy. But this time I'm super busy. That's why this blog of mine has been in silent mode for quite some time.

I went back to my hometown during CNY break, did the interview with the priest in my church just after the Ash Wednesday mass and finally the date has been confirmed. Our Big Day will be held on 12th June 2010 in St Theresa's Church Tambunan at 10.00am.. <span class= In the afternoon, we went to Tambunan Registration Department to settle all the documents required for a civil marriage. And 17th Mac will be the date we are going to get our marriage certificate lol.. That means I am going back to Sabah once again... I'm so happy.. Can't wait to be back home once again. But this coming school holiday will be a busy week for me. Have to settle a lot of things for our big event. This is the only time for me to do our wedding preparations because after this Mac holidays, I am only going back to Tambunan 1 week before the wedding. Oh my God, how am I going to do all the necessary things for just a week??? I'm beginning to feel the great stress already.

Thank God both of us already did our pre-wedding photoshots in Monliza Wedding Castle in SS2 PJ. Never did I know that doing photoshots could be soooo tiring. Thinking back I could never believe myself that both of us could survived the 12 hours shooting... Gila eh... During the photoshot, I ate only biscuits + bread and drank plain water... Have to skipped the meal in order for me to fit into my gowns and surely I don't want my boroi to pop out saying hello to everyone there.. My whole body ached after that photoshot because I was asked to climb tree, piano and stairs along the process. and Jet had flu immediately after the photoshot... kesian cry We went to select the best pictures 2 days after that and we were surprised with the outcome. We never expect that those pictures would be like that...

We have so many things to do before the big day... stress level going up and down right now... I can't believe this is for real...

Till then people... Have a nice day..

Carol, a Kadazan from Penampang is my uni coursemate and also my colleague. We were posted in the same school in 2007. Her husband, a Rungus from Kudat is also a special education teacher in Putrajaya. They first met at KKIA when they went to receive their flight ticket there. So I guess it was love at first sight. Isn't it Carol??

David is Jetro's best friend and Sharon is my junior in university. And they were actually classmate when they were in secondary school. It was my first time attending a Dusun Lotud wedding and it was a very colourful celebration indeed.

Pedrew is Jetro's eldest brother and her wife happened to be my junior in uni too. It is a marriage between a Sabahan and a Sarawakian, a Kadazan and an Iban. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to their wedding reception held in KDCA because I went back early to Klang to attend the school meeting. Anyway, I'm happy to do my part during the wedding preparation.

Congratulations to all newly weds and may God bless all of you always..

Happy Wedding Day...

to Liberty and Marina.

Jetro and I went to witness their marriage blessing ceremony on the 1st of November 2009 at the Church Of Our Lady Of Lourdes, Klang. Liberty and Marina together with 6 more couples received their blessing on that day. It was a very beautiful ceremony indeed and it was very touching when one of the brides cried when she said the
marriage vows and had to repeat it for 3 times..

To Liberty and Marina,
May both of you have a good life ahead and don't forget to keep your marriage vows alive.

Macam sama pula muka dorang ni...

Congratulations once again to Liberty and Marina...

Kotobian Tadau Pisasawaan

kumaa dii Uncle George om ii Aunty Rosita...

Congratulations to both of you..

They have been together for ages through thick and thin. They engaged with each other for a very long period of time, had postponed their big day several times, dealt with a lot of family matters.. But, these circumstances did not affect their relationship and they finally became husband and wife on the 22nd September 2009....

in this beautiful church

My brother and I went bac
k to Tambunan just to celebrate this beautiful wedding since George is our last uncle (mum's brother) to wed. Everyone was there to celebrate his big day and it was unbelievable that all his siblings were there to celebrate the event. I myself had a very enjoyable day during the celebration. Now I wonder what should I call George after this... Uncle George or just George????? All of us, his nieces and nephews used to call him George only and never call him Uncle (because he dislikes it).. If we call him George then we have to call his wife Rosita... LOL!!! It seems a little rude, isn't it?? I guess I have to learn how to call him Uncle from now on...^_^

The colour they chose for their wedding ~ Blue + Maroon. No wonder they look sooo blue in the picture. Managed to snap a family photo before the holy matrimony inside the church but my sister, Charlene was not inside the pic because she had to work on that day. Kesian gia... Jan jeles ahh.. lain kali ada chance lagi tu...

cake cutting ceremony ~ old school style

I like event like this simply because it brings families and friends together and getting the chance to experience the long forgotten tradition of Dusun wedding once again... But frankly speaking, I actually miss those home made tradisional drinks a.k.a tapai, tumpung, lihing, tinogoie and so on.... Aramaiitiee....^_^
